Following his belief, “the man who dies rich dies disgraced,” he gave away around $350 million (roughly $5.2 billion in 2020), almost 90 percent of his fortune, to charities, foundations and universities.
His 1889 article proclaiming “The Gospel of Wealth” called on the rich to use their wealth to improve society stimulated a wave of philanthropy.

Not just one of the greatest and the most famous entrepreneurs of all time, but the greatest inventor. He actually changed the world by his inventions. Edison is credited with some 1,093 US patents for a range of inventions that includes the light bulb, the phonograph, and the motion picture camera.
He also created the world’s first industrial research laboratory.

Walt has had a childhood that no kid should have. His father being a strict disciplinarian used to beat him almost everyday.
